Motivation and Goal
How can digitalization help to revitalize city centers? Retail must actively shape digitalization in order to reach customers in the future and to create its survival perspective with lively inner cities.
The smartmarket² joint project uses the innovative potential of digitalization to develop innovative value-added services and applications to strengthen inner-city retail. It thus makes a lasting contribution to preserving and even enhancing the character and profile of urban life, which is largely shaped by retail.
